While cycling today I spotted the first patch of red campion (Silene dioica) flowering. There were also the first bellflowers. I rode too fast to take pictures but both indicate that early spring is now finally over in this part of southern Germany.

Also already 6675 km on the bike since Jan 1. That's quite a lot.
