It's nice to have nothing but black belts in the room every now and then to take some time and go through kyu-level <a href="https://corteximplant.com/tags/kata" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>kata</span></a> but with black belt technique. Figuring out the practical applications and <a href="https://corteximplant.com/tags/bunkai" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>bunkai</span></a> for the sequences of the formal kata is where the interesting part is for me.</p><p>Getting a black belt means starting over again but with a whole new level of basic experience to draw on. It's cool to see the refinement process bring out the art in <a href="https://corteximplant.com/tags/MartialArts" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer" target="_blank">#<span>MartialArts</span></a>.</p>
