Saw a thread on another site where a bunch of #Brits were in agreement that the #2012 #Olympics opening ceremony was better than #paris2024 because it had better "branding" and more appeals to "#British history and culture."
IMO Kudos to France for having an inclusive , unique, and diverse, ceremony that didn't, like #London2012, ignore its colonial legacy.
Things like are why nearly the entire world was cheering against #England at the #Euros.

We have 2 main #CDN access log processing pipelines covering www.bbc.co.uk & www.bbc.com plus #BBC iPlayer & Sounds. I built & mostly run one, our Media Analytics team run the other.
During the England Vs Switzerland #Euros match on Saturday, my log pipeline peaked at 1.05 million log lines per second (LPS) with an ingress rate of 1Gb/s.
The Media Analytics pipeline hit 2.85 million LPS at the same time...so just shy of 4 million LPS in total.
I wonder what the peak will be on Sunday? 1/2
Laughed out loud at the main headline on the Beeb today as "buzzing" means something quite different in my south Wales valleys dialect...
To be fair, though, even with my very limited knowledge of football and the physical exertion involved, I suspect both meanings were equally true at this point.
