#onthisday in #1955 Jean #Palk of the matriarchal line that stretches back to the #Andersons of #Argyle (the so called #BlackAndersons) gave birth to #David. The rest as they say is history. I don't follow it anymore, but my years-held belief that football managers have the most overrated job still stands. I've never seen the point in them.
Plymouth #Argyle proved it today by getting a point whilst managerless after Rooney left this week.

“Argyle” was a better movie than the critics made it sound. Overstuffed, yes, but I’m not sure what you could cut because it was all essential to the plot. And even if it had been a bad movie, which it wasn’t, I could have forgiven a lot in exchange for that amazing colored smoke shootout/dance sequence, and the one that followed that I won’t even tease because it should be seen blind. #movies #argyle

The gorse is looking absolutely gorgeous at the moment. When there is such bright sun on them the colour is so strong it looks unreal.

Saw what I think are Wheatears today in Argyle. Lovely little things, another one that is hard to believe migrates all the way from Africa.

Male Wheatear (I think) perched on a stone near the coast, there are other rocks and seaweed in the background.

Female Wheatear (I think), perched on a rock near the water and showing off her leg.

Male Wheatear (I think) standing on a heap of seaweed next to the water. His breeding plumage is starting to come in.
