Pretty sure I made it clear last week that #SundayBrunch on #Channel4 is utter dog shit, and is well past its time. It shouldn’t be on any more. And yet, here we are, yet another Sunday morning with this shit being broadcast.

What about having a brunch on a Sunday? My suggestion is a so-called "strammer Max". That is a roast bread with ham (Salami is perfect, too ) and fried egg.

It was great to see Shini Somara on Channel 4's Sunday Brunch programme, she's a fantastic ambassador for women and minorities in STEM.

But it was so disappointing to hear her talking uncritically about ChatGPT and similar LLM systems.

She said "With traditional search engines like Google you have to go through pages of results, with GPT you just get an answer there right in front of you".

Yes, you get an answer. Is it the right answer? Quite possibly not, and the hardest thing is it's not easy to determine if it's the right answer or not.
